Holiday Message From the National President, The Navy League of Canada

Dear Members, Supporters, Partners, and Friends of the Navy League of Canada,
As we celebrate the season and close out 2023, I extend my heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to each you on behalf of the Navy League of Canada for your individual and collective actions in creating and continuing to provide a strong foundation of support for our two youth programs and activities at the local, regional, provincial, and national levels.
Over the past year, we have seen positive growth and a return to in person activities, gatherings and events that are at the heart of what we do in Maritime Affairs and the Sea Cadet and the Navy League Cadet programs. We are so fortunate to have an incredible network of enthusiastic, hardworking and committed partners and volunteers who provide unwavering support. collaboration and dedication across all that we do! It’s been quite a year and you can see the positive impact of all of your efforts on the faces of our cadets and their accomplishments as well as our many successes and achievements!
In addition to our many partners and friends of the Navy League of Canada, I would like to give special thanks and recognition to our dedicated volunteers in support of the Navy League and Sea Cadet Corps in our Divisions and Branches across Canada. You continue to amaze and impress me with your engagement, commitment, and enthusiasm, and we could not deliver the training, special events, and activities without our “fleet” of volunteers as well as the officers, instructors and staff at the National and Division levels!
As you gather with friends, family, and loved ones to cherish the traditions of the season, I hope that you take time to reflect upon the significant contributions you have made to the success of our cadets and our programs as well as time for yourself to rest and recharge while enjoying the holidays.
I wish each of you a wonderful holiday season, Merry Christmas and all the best for a happy and healthy 2024!
