Maritime Affairs Alliance
Promoting Canada's Maritime Interests
Canada's maritime community represents a diverse collection of interests, including:
• Ports
• Shipping and Ship Building
• Fisheries and Aquaculture
• Recreational Boating and Tourism
• Oil and Mineral Resources
• Enforcement and Defence
Diversity is the greatest asset of our maritime community, however it also creates our greatest challenge. Canada's maritime community is fragmented. We have the potential to become the most important sector of the Canadian economy yet the lack of a clear voice has left our vast potential unrealized. The Maritime Affairs Alliance will change this by providing advocacy and educational resources that will further the full spectrum of maritime concerns.
