National Corporate Services Manager

James Clute

Jamie Clute was born and raised here in the Ottawa area. He attended high school in Kanata, and graduated from Algonquin College with a 3yr degree in Business Administration and Accounting. While in school, Jamie worked for Loeb for 7 years first as a service clerk, then at the deli counter. He also worked for a brief spell at Subway. To this day, Jamie can make a very mean club sandwich for his office mates.

After graduation from college, Jamie began working on his degree in Economics. After deciding that Economics was not what he wanted to pursue full time, Jamie switched to Law studies.  Jamie decided to leave his studies when he was offered the position of NationalOffice Coordinator in January 2000. Shortly after, he returned to university to pursue his studies part-time. In May 2004, he graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelors Degree in Criminology. Jamie joined RCSCC Falkland in the fall of 1988, and quickly came up the ranks. He has been a divisional petty officer, a drum major, the chief training standards and chief petty officer second class. He finally graduated in 1994.

Jamie stayed on with the corps as a Civilian Officer, and was sworn into the Cadet Instructor Cadre in 1996. In March 2003, Jamie was awarded the Queen’s Jubilee Medal for his dedication and service to the cadets of RCSCC Falkland. Jamie has held the rank of New Entry Officer, Band Officer and Administration Officer. In January 2001, he was appointed as Executive Officer, a position which he held until February 2004. He served as the Commanding Officer - RCSCC Centurion from 2006 - 2010. In September 2010, he was appointed the Commanding Officer - RCSCC Falkland.
